Clinic Updates
Online Booking Now Available!
We’re excited to let you know that online appointment booking is once again live on our website! You can now book your pet’s appointments at a time that suits you, straight from your phone or computer. Please note we’re still very busy, so if you can’t find a time that works for you — or if it’s urgent — please call us directly, and we’ll do our best to fit you in sooner.
Meet Floyd – Your Virtual Vet Nurse
Our clever virtual vet nurse, Floyd, is available 24/7 to help with general questions and appointment bookings. You can find him on our website or via our Facebook page.
He’s great at answering common queries, so we recommend checking in with Floyd before calling us — unless it’s an emergency, of course!
New Practice Software – Thank You for Your Patience
As many of you know, we recently transitioned to a new practice management system. The new software is a big step up — it’s more professional and gives us better tools to care for your pets. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we migrated across — thank you for bearing with us!
Farewell Megan – Off on Her OE!
This month we said goodbye to our wonderful vet nurse Megan, who is off on a big overseas adventure with her partner, starting in Canada. Megan was named our Clinic Vet Nurse of the Year last year — an amazing achievement in her very first year as a new grad! Many of you will remember her from her time with us as a student nurse before she joined the team full-time. She has been such a valued member of our clinic family and will be missed by staff, clients, and patients alike. We’re incredibly proud of her and (just a little bit) jealous of her exciting travels ahead. Bon voyage, Megan — we’ll be cheering you on from afar!
Niue Vet Trip & Fundraiser Quiz Night!
For the past two years, a vet and nurse from our team have volunteered their time to travel to Niue with the ROCK Vets, providing free vet services to animals in need. Niue doesn’t have any vet clinics, so this support makes a huge difference.
This November, Steve and our Head Surgical Nurse, Rhi, will be heading over to volunteer their skills and time.
To support this mission, we’re bringing back our Quiz Night Fundraiser! Last year’s event was a huge success — and this year promises to be just as fun.
Save the date: Friday 5th September
